this is a little talk i had with seph.... He invited me to his Xfire list and me being the nice person i am i let him on there.... this is my first convo with seph....

sepht: he didn't respond till walrii posted something in #staff for him to respond

sepht: i sent him a full explination.. he then posts up the "EA members have had their e-mails removed" thing on the site

Al: well its only a one month band so ur not gone forever but after that i dont htink u wanna go there again

Well, I think we decided to put the whole thing to rest. Though i should point out that voice was never offered as a deal. Voice is reserved for those members that show they deserve it. Please don't try and blackmail/coerce/beg the staff for voice. Resonable discussion=good. anything else=not good.

Rather than publically exploit someone on a forum community, you might want to email one of the administrators about the situation before doing so.

Very rarely do logs hold much validity since they can be duplicated and 'adjusted' easily. I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just letting you know that posting logs doesn't really mean anything.

I will have to argue against that. Even though logs can be changed, if seph emailed them to sim9. Sim9 could cross refrence them with his logs, to check for possible changes. Most of us in the irc keep our own logs. I belive Sim9 has a log of everything. Seeing he is never loged of. So seph sending him logs would be kind of pointless.

I think the whole thing is juvenile.

I don't think that anyone should post potentially incriminating evidence to an entire community no matter who's reputation is at stake. It just shows alot about the other person, as well.

This is something that should not be at the user's level. Only the administration's level.
