new program idea

after searching though another forum an idea came to my mind (using an old source code i have, which i have to remake but oh well, i found it off the internet in the first place) i would be able to make a EA client like thing with chat, what i mean by that is, it would let you look at things forums, EATV, IRC ect and at the bottom or on another form have a chat thing IRC or web i was thinking of it using Web Client but people would be able to go to other parts of the site as there are links so i was wondering if sim could make another page with just the IRC webclient or i could try to find a free web chat thing.
what you guys think?

Hmm cool, although I think it would be really hard to integrate web browser, streaming video, and irc client all in one program (and get it to work) :)

I think something else along those lines would be to make a program that'll install EA / EATV shortcuts / bookmarks into IE, Firefox, Opera, Winamp, mIRC, etc so the user justs runs it and is ready to go. (Of course, autodetecting if they're installed).

Sounds neat! You can find lots of free java webclient type things, and the EATV webstream version is an activex control. Using your visual basic, you can make simple webbrowsers, so maybe make
it with that :)
