Great Mod Idea... Need Team...

[FONT=Arial]Hello, this is my first time posting here, hell first time visiting site, I came across it while trying to find ways to make my great HL mod idea a reality. I don't want to post what it is here until I get a team together that is willing to work. What I need...

Model Maker... Need to get a few new models, could be as easy as new skins, not sure yet...

Sound Person... Need to get sounds into the game, voice acting and maybe some new weapon sounds. I have no clue about any of that, I just make maps.

Coder... There will be some scripted events in this mod.

I don't know much about the whole lip-sync stuff, so i need a lip-sync person, if that is a modeler, coder, sound person, like I said I just make maps.

If you can do any of the above, please email me for details on the mod, it won't be too large at first. Will use original HL textures, and a bunch of original character models. Only the beginning of the first level will be heavily scripted, from then on only small areas have scripted events.

Welcome to the forums! :D

From the little hints I've heard, it sounds theoretically interesting. And all I heard was "fallout," which I heard was good. So all I can say is it could be neat0 :)

Considering how much difficulty I'm having finishing all the projects I've got started, I can't join yet another. There are some skilled people around here, so maybe they'll be able to lend you a helping hand :)

Also, many people around here are of the "I donate a model to you, you donate a sound clip to me" persuasion. A mutual agreement to share content between mods could be very helpful. This was actually the original purpose of TheArchive.

Woah, didn't even realize this post was that old...

In any case, when you advertise for people, you may have a difficult time getting people to contact you about a new, exciting, project while not telling them about it. First of all, anyone can promise a project is "exciting," and second, different ideas excite different people. So when you advertise again, I would post a lot more details, perhaps even a full design document with concept art :)

Also, since you have a website do a proper and professional site and then email the HL2 news sites saying that the mod has some openings.

Say openings since it sounds better than "I need someone to help!"
