Anyone noticed a problem with Email Notification of Replies feature?

Vercon pointed this out to me, and I don't think I've ever had this problem, but has anyone subscribed to a thread and then not gotten an email?

I don't get any email notifications....

Probably because I turned them off a looooooong time ago :D
