HEY!

These are ideas i had while thinking of a fun game,i want sim to continue work on HTMOD,theres no point to not finishing it and i think the public will enjoy it when done if we add the right stuff,its fun already,but HTNET is known for devious weaponary and we should make some stuff that makes the player think as well.




here goes:



First off i would like to see some new maps,i mean huge,i like sims idea of a HT HEADQUARTERS,unfortunatly (no offence to sim,he did great work) its kinda small and needs a can of raid,and with sim doing mapping AND c0ding,it didnt come out too well,we need to hire on some modlers and a mapper or two,because frankly,our weapons are fun,but a new model/skin wouldnt hurt for them....


second: More weapons w00t,i had the following ideas.

1: RTPPS: Random Teleporting Player Protection System. Similar to quake 3 arenas random teleporter,this device can not only teleport you to a random zone,but may be used of others (maybe they will fall off a cliff or into a room full of teammates,you never know)

2. ICEGUN: duke nukem 3d...mmmm freeze ray,would be a great resurection for HT,nothing like paralysis for a few seconds to get the party going.(limited use)

3. some cars for sim.

4. brainwasher: This will make the person you are shooting at (only in team based games) only able to harm their own team,this might come in handy in a CTF or CAPTURE THE c0de GAME.

5. ATOMIC TRIP: LOL just for fun make a trip with a really high dmg and radius,would be interesting to see how people use this (big big maps only aviable)

6. Nero-conbustion: ever play games in big head mode? this gun is similar to duke nukem 3D expander except once blown up they dont die,they stay huge and thus very visible (while huge their like is dropped to like 20 and returns to normal once they shrink again)



well those are my ideas,i know some may make it and some may not but if you have any revisions,ideas ,or comments please,dont hesitate to post.

Those are some fun ideas, some would work too!

Well since HT isnt some big game production, or secret for that matter, i think fun features are all it needs to live on!

and ure ideas are nice and all but sim, as the producer knows that unless ruby learns to code, he will never finish htmod unless he cuts and cleans it.

well :P to you..lol,actully,HT is kinda a go - on project,we just think us some funny stuff and put it in and play..lol

Fyre, those are some great ideas!

1. Great idea. Will be implemented as a "portable black hole" - throw grenade, and it creates a gravity field sucking nearby players into it (like rocket crowbar). Once sucked in, they have a percent chance (server cvar) of either dying from too much gravity OR being teleported to a random location.

2. Great idea - will be implemented at a low priority

4. Hmm... not sure about this one yet

5. I am planning on making a bomb as a target for a tripmine. The bomb can be scaled on how long the user clicks for (similar to boombox). Thus we could have an atomic bomb. Would be nice with pretty fx too ;)

6. Hmm, a shrink / englarge gun could be very interesting... hmm...

Manic, you're reverse-psychologically motivating me to work on HT... and it's slightly working :P
