Game View You Like Best

For a mmorpg style game (emphasis on skills and overall goodness), which of those do you prefer most?

Not that I'll ever get any htmud work done, but I just can't decide on how to just get the visual part of it done. :(

Where does something like Final Fantasy XI fall under? ... Probably Full 3D I'm assuming.

Let's see... Final Fantasy XI... well, its not 2d, and its not text... so... I guess that would leave 3d left :)

Sim, what about different types of 3d though? like first person, third person, being able to switch between the two etc?

3d would probably encompass first person, and maybe 3rd person & switching between the two.

You can't do 2d wrong (well you can... it's hard though), it's VERY easy to do 3d wrong though.

Hmm... Taking the number of unfinished projects in various stages of "completion"... I think it's safe to say that no matter which option we choose it will not be finished. Sim, I don't mean to rag on you, but come on... You have to look at this from our view, will this be finished if we choose something like 3D? Even 2D? Do you have the time, patience, art talent ready, etc etc??

I've found that, many projects I've tried to do years ago (months?) I was unable to do, because I lacked the talent / discipline. Now however, as I get better and better in programming etc I can finish projects and do them well.

My point is, you gotta try. If at first you fail (and Sim has failed :) a few times) try again. We learn (hopefully) from our mistakes.

I'm just really asking for one project to be finished... ANY project will do... HTMod would do quite nicely though... That seemed to be the furthest into production compared to most other projects... Or maybe not, I dont know.
