View Full Version : Error With Steam Dod V1.1

When I play the new DoD version 1.1, the font on the score table is Times New Roman. It is supposed to be Courier, which would look alot better. Many people have this same problem. Here is what is in the error logs, anyone know how to fix it?

Do you have Courier? or do you have Courier New? (would it even matter I wonder...)

Assuming your font is C:\windows\fonts\courier new.ttf try copying that file and renaming to courier.ttf then try DoD again (I dunno if this'll work... but it sounds like it can't find the file) (You may need to boot into dos to do this [windows might try to protect it])

Try it... lemme know what happens

Yes, I have a courier font. It looks like the error message is reporting courier as missing.

Do what walrii suggested, but perhaps copy couriernew OUT of fonts, then rename it, then copy it back IN. That way windows does whatever font installation things it needs to do. Use the explorer interface if possible.

well, i dont have a file called courier new.ttf in my fonts directory, how ever I found couri.ttf (which I am assuming in the Courior New font because I do have it on my computer.) Anyways, thinks for trying to help. Its not that big of a deal anyways.

Err HotAir doesnt have TFC 1.6 or Counter-Strike 1.6...
Either way, htmud is better! :P
