Preshow was good with the look back on earlier games.

I watched maybe the first 20-25 mins of the awards show and turned them off after I found the Penny-Arcade thread that listed all of the winners.

I was scared (scarred?) after Madden 2004 won game of the year! :(
Then MATRIX REVOLUTIONS won best movie game... I'm sorry but that game sucked, so I turned it off and watched 2 minutes of that karate special (XTREME martial arts).
