Hehe, I'd like to do so much more HL is so limiting... arg
Yeah, but I do like that you can create map geometry inside the editor, as opposed to having to make geometry in 3dmax or another modeler, then import it...

Looks awesome. :)
Even if Half-life's engine is rather limited, it creates a challenge for the mapper and therefore makes them better at getting around those limitations. Once the mapper moves to a (relatively) unlimited engine, their maps become amazing as they no longer have constraints, but do have the skills and artisitic abilities. Basically, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and by the looks of things, the force is with you (assuming the maps play as good as they look).
:starwars:
Well put walrii :D
Though by Walrii's constraint definition, HTMud Editing is true proving ground :P (Though it won't be for long! ;) )
For specifics sake, which engine are we refering to as an example of superior mapping?

Amature??? Your maps kick more ass that 90% of user made maps in the world. So PLEASE. Don't underrate yourself.
Besides, I can't wait to map for HTMud. I have to work on my Awesome RPG project again too.

HTMud is obviously the superior engine, although, its more like a superior diamond very much in the rough. Gee, if only someone would fix the major bugs (crashing) and or get rid of the massive 800 ping...
Once fixage is done, Vercon you can start making HTmud maps, in all their 2d low res glory (for now they're low res....)

I can map great 2D. 3D is.... okay, we won't talk about it.
Woo, now I'm excited about HTMud!
Too bad walrii made me do sitework instead :(
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's amazing maps!
And vercon, you do make some great professional-quality maps ;)
I look forward to writing a full exhaustive review on 15plus one day on EA :D
