So I recently bought the game. Still havent finished it, but any way these next quotes area bout some of the outstand really bad points in the game.

Like some of these, were What the fuck was the development team smokeing

Guard AI can be pretty fricken stupid, yet omnipitent at other times. I can kill a guard right next to the other guard, then proceed to fling the dead guard's body around, loot its corpse, smash windows with it, throw it at the other guard and fire a few rounds into it and the guard won't mind at all. Yet, I can be hiding in the shadows a mile away from any sort of detection, smash a window (setting off the alarm) and every cop in the city will know it's me.

This is actualy rather true sadly. But it isn't as bad as is described.

Unified ammo. Only one ammo type. Rocket launchers, machine guns, pistols, railguns, etc. They all use the same ammo. It has something to do with nano-robots morphing into ammo type or something STUPID LIKE THAT WHO CARES it's a DUMB idea.

Now this just plain out get's on my nerves, Its soo close to wrecking the game for me. But then I stair at some eye candy and i'm better.

Also, a lot of people seem to temporarilly "crash" to their desktops during a loading screen, only to be thrown back into the game a moment later. I didn't experience this, however. .

I got this, its nothing really bad. It throw's you cleanly back to your desktop, and take you back into the game rather cleanly with out a bug.

Your inventory is now divided into numbered slots. Now your rocket launcher takes up just as much room as your medkits.

Like wtf the rocketlauncher take up as much room as a candy bar!?

Also, the game chugs. I've recently spent a thousand bucks or more on upgrading my computer, and I still get 15 frames per second or lower in some spots. People with much better computers than me get the same problems -- if they can even get it to work. For me, it was an effort to even get this game to run at all.

I personaly get 20-30, fps, and it's always worked perfectly. *Shrug*, guess it was just built for nVIDIA Geforce XF cards..

The loading times between levels (and there are a LOT of loading going on) are ridiculously long..
I found my loading times to be really short 5-7 seconds avg.. I have no clue what there talking about

I personally hate it when game producers sell a partially finished product. I realize that sometimes they're forced by the publisher, or that sometimes the cost to make a good product is much too great than the profits from a crappy one, but still it doesn't make it right.

Yea it's not totaly done. But its playable :-)

I just hate what they did to it. They took Deus Ex, riped all the RPG elements out of it, basicly turned it into a gun toating fps. oh and fff#%#&#& unified ammo!

Yeah, I'm not planning on getting it either.

In this case, it's not only not finished, but the game is subpar. I haven't tried it for myself, so I can't pass judgement, but I've heard many negative things :(

Third times the charm? :P

MY REVIEW OF THIS TITLE:

After playing deus Ex II: Invisible War Today My take on this game is that Edios and ion storm really need to re write this engine, the fact that no matter what you do you get a strange framerate just degraded the level of play, even those higher end cards only get like 20 fps here, it plays well for me but at a very low res (800x600) so, the plus side to this game so far is the very deep plot, your agent and you can work for one , or both, sides once you leave.... now, dont get me wrong, but seeing as how i ACTULLY live in seattle, i choose to scrap the WTO (the riots here sucked and its their fault) so far ive killed almost every WTO guy i seen.
Weapons for me hardly have ANY ammo, the ammo is so scarce its pathetic, i never have enough multitools, ive been running around toasting people with a damn billy club. the GOOD part is, if you kill a important NPC, you dont die..you have to LIVE with them dead (theres multiple ways to get in certian places, but sometimes you screw yourself out of ALOT of biomods..so all in all this breif review scores a good 7 on my game scale, just below (i can tolerate it" and above " what the fuck is this? mario with a keyboard?"

Heres the Final bout and in my opinion one of the best GFX scenes (rendered very well at 1600x1280 on my 8500 and than reduced) In side a mad J.C. denton from the first deus ex awaits and i go kill him cause i uploaded all his files to other h4x0rs.
