... I hate this holiday. I hate it so much. I got things I never wanted yet I don't have the heart to tell my parents I don't like the gifts they got me.

That's sad to hear zips :(

Did you make a list? Lists are vitally important ;)

What did you get?

I got some games (C&C Generals/Expansion, Istaria, Shadowbane ($4.99 sale, woo!) and Chrono Cross. And JENGA! :D) Also got some xmas linux-style miniplush penguins, an extra ddr mat, and a wireless mouse. Got a novel and "Successful independent game development". And a usb keychain hdd :D Also got some other small things that I didn't know I wanted until I got them. ;)

All in all I really enjoyed christmas. But there's no shame in buying yourself gifts in the after-christmas sales! :D

Like I've said. I only requested one thing from three groups of people, and I couldn't even get that.

The things I got that I did like though include:
Madden 2004
Both Family Guy DVD volumes (Seasons 1-3 :D )
a Cyborg Evo joystick (http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/cyborg_evo.htm) :D
the newest Tom Clancy book
some clothing

Anyway... I had wanted a 9800xt ... One gift from three groups of people. Three GROUPS of people going in together for one gift... And I couldn't get it. After hearing of this, my mom did say that my brother got me something fairly expensive (For him)... Figured it would possibly be WinXP Pro as I said I wanted that many times during the year to them... Nope... He's the one who got me the Family Guy DVD's... Still good but... I was really disappointed in this year.

And the things I didn't want yet I still received?
Manhunt (Too gruesome even for me)
Manhunt Strategy Guide
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (AI sucks a bit, and I can't really stand FPS on consoles much anymore)

Well, you didn't come out too badly.

That joystick... omg !:D I think it's time to upgrade the robot control joystick to that! ;)

And I know how you love family guy. And each season is what, like $30? And you got three? :D

The seasons go as follows:

Season 1 + 2 = Volume 1 = $35
Season 3 = Volume 2 = $35

Total: Around $70

And this joystick owns. I've been playing Battlefield 1942 and Combat Flight Sim 3 (Free game off of my roommate who bought it :P) and my GOD it makes such a huge difference! So much fun to be had.

I got Manhunt... I'm not opening it and I'm returning it for "Beyond Good & Evil".

I had a really good Christmas, but it seems that this topic is the place to vent. Two of the movie's I got (X-2, Matrix 2) were in full screen :(

There I feel better now. I don't even have a wide screen TV, but it still bothers me that I can't see the movie as it was seen in theaters.
