Version .1 of Super Ruby World!

You'll need a ROM of Super Mario World to play, since it's a super mario world mod, and we're not going to violate Nintendo's copyrights.

Included is the IPS patch file, and a IPS patch utility. All you need is an unmodified super mario rom. Back up your existing super mario world, and apply this patch onto it. Rename to "Super Ruby World" or what have you. Then load up in an emulator and play :D

There's only 4 levels (One hidden). Note that after level 1, it becomes exponentially more difficult. Try to beat it WITHOUT quicksave/quickload. If that fails, give in and try WITH quicksave/quickload. Good luck! :D

Please provide comments and observations :)

Sim: You are sick :P

Lure players into seemingly harmless areas, with feathers and 1-up mushrooms, then TRAP them in there with invisible music notes... :)

I would have actually tried to beat that level, but I died and apparently it doesn't save your game automatically, so therefore I wasn't about to play through 2 levels again.

On the second level the first yoshi coin, I jump to get it, and it doesn't fully disappear (the bottom half is left), does anyone else get that?

Here's a screenshot:

Sim: How do you get in that pipe? Can you?

Nope, the pipe is not usable ;)

Also, you forgot the part where the player is trapped AND being shot at :P

Found the secret stage yet?

No, I figured the secret stage was that pipe.

I got to level 3, which I assume has bowser in it (the title), my guess is the secret level is NOT in level 3 (because that would be too obvious).

Oops guess I must have forgotten to change the title.... hehe :P

Here's a tip: Secret stage is in level 2, where there is the RED DOT indicating two levels :P hehe :P

Just be careful when you find it, since it causes all sorts of bizarre display errors

Display errors!?
Are you planning on "finishing" Ruby World (more levels?) by the way?

Hmm, I might, if anyone wants me to put in more levels? :)

Probably not finish, but just add in more levels as there is more demand :P
