There's been a lot of hype surrounding the releases of the Xbox 360, 'Wii', and the PS3. Which one are you most interested in getting, and why?

---

As for myself, I don't really have much interest in any of the next-gen consoles as I have yet to be interested in any of the games being released for them. Once the game lineup becomes clearer, I'll probably be more interested in one ;)

Soooo expensive. I'll either leech off of people who have one of the next gen consoles, or find a "must buy" game / console, or just keep collecting and playing Nintendo / computer games.

Although, the Wii looks like it might rock.

Probably the Wii and the PS3, after the prices drop.

I like the Wii and the PS3 myself. The games that are most likely to be made that I'll enjoy will probably be for those systems. Of course, by the time i can afford them, they'll be last-gen :p

The Xbox 360's arcade system is pretty neat. However, the Wii is expected to have something similar with tons of classic games.

As for the control scheme of the Wii, I'm not sure whether I'll love or hate it. I think I'll need to physically try it myself to find out. It's just so... odd.

I'll definitely get the PS3 first, and then I'll hopefully move onto the Wii. I doubt I'll ever pick up an X-box 360, but who knows?

Nintendo has a better track record of games I enjoy than the playstation. I pick my consoles for which'll have better games :).

Yes, it'll be very interesting to see how most players react to the controller, and whether it'll fit for more than two games.

For me, I'd say I'm 50/50 on playstation vs gamecube games I enjoy. They both have about the same number of games I enjoy to the same extent.

I enjoy several playstation games, but i've found that i enjoy the replay of more of the gamcube games, AND! the gamecube has a better multiplay capabilities.

Indeed, four player multiplayer easily beats out two player multiplayer. I've often wondered why sony won't just add an extra two controller ports.

Sony has had a little extension thing a long time back which has 4 slots on each side so you can play with 6 people on one PS2. I have to say my only motivation for the 360 is that Call Of Duty 2 kicks ass, but I guess I'll have to swallow that one for a while until the 360 un-sucks ie stops having bugs and lives up to it's past promises.

I won't be buying any of them till price drops. Though, I will be buying Wii games to play on my roommates' Wiis.

As for PS3, I just don't know. We'll see. I love my PS2, but I hardly play it as is. Now my roommate's GameCube, I play that all the time.

After watching Nintendo's Press Conference, I am officially wowed by the Wii. Both PS3 and Wii will release right before my birthday, so I technically could get one of them; I thought I'd easily just pick up a PS3...but now, I'm not so sure. Wii might be the way to go!

My guss is that they wanted to make some more $ off the multi tap and Wii ROKZ !!

Well, because 4 player isn't standard on PS/PS2, it seems to me that most games just won't support it.

Yeah, the graphics on some of those games...plus I want 3 of the 5 release titles...I'm so torn!
