I just purchased a Need for Speed game, specifically Underground Rivals (http://www.ea.com/redesign/games/psp/nfsur/home.jsp). I wanted to know how the multiplayer was, since I was looking for a good multiplayer game. Has anyone played this game? Can you tell me if it has good multiplayer?

le pupp, do take care to make your posts legible. I will direct you to the forum rules (http://forums.editingarchive.com/showthread.php?t=1241), which specifically state (in bold, no less) to make posts readable. I think we can forgive a typo here and there, but what you just typed was atrocious.

Can't provide any specifics myself, but may want to check review sites like gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com) if no one here has any comments.

I haven't played that Need For Speed but really, I'm not a fan of the Need for Speed series in general. I'm more of a Gran Turismo type of guy. I know alot of people like them though so they can't be completely bad. I played multiplayer once in one of the NFSs (PS2 version) and it was pretty fun I guess, running from the cops.

I'm sure there's probably a NFS community out there somewhere.

If you bought it already then, what's the point in asking how good the multiplayer is (unless you plan on returning it)?

I played Need for Speed: Underground 2, and it seemed to be a fun game the first time through (you can make your car look really awesome, lol). We tried multiplayer in that, and it was... decent. I guess. It basically let you drive your cars from single player in a set of scenarios: drag racing, drifting, normal race course, and possibly rally or something, it's been a while. Anyways, since that's the only thing you can POSSIBLY do with racing games, that's probably what the multiplayer would be like in that game (assuming, of course, that it HAS multiplayer, but their site should tell you that). Whether you'll find it fun, I couldn't say. I'm not really a fan of racing games. I just played the single player so I could make a sweet looking ricer! :)

You can pritty much geuss what online play might be. Driving, Customizing your car, Challenging players.

What a surprise.
