Shingetsutan Tsukihime & Saikaino

Hello all,

first thank you Sim for the anime talk topic!

second, i am so impressed by the two series (saikano, tsukhime) i decided to make websites about the series, alot of info will be available, not only info, also wallpapers, etc..

at this moment i am only busy with Tsukihime, i will concentrate on Saikano sometime later, cause at this moment i am speculating how and when... :) and i have other projects to finish :)

Did you do the graphics yourself (arranging, editing etc, obviously, you didn't draw them)

Thanx Walrii,

yes, i did the design, i first designed that website to use for my portofolio, then i decided it would look good with content about anime, etc... :)

you are right, i was thinking about that, with no content it looks like shit :P

Only problem is, is it (il)legal to put wallpapers, info, etc about the anime, they can't sue me in anyway, but still dont want to disturb any people regarding copyrights/licensing

I don't think they'll sue a fansite. If anything fansites help sell more anime :P

I really like the design, good work! :D Only thing I notice is that I get the copyright notice twice.

Oh... that is a relief :)

Yes i know, i couldn't get it right, it is making me mad :)...

The idea was, that every link, every page will have a different colour of design, the header image will change, when u go to the characters page, and u click on Shiki (example) the header will change and the colours too... sounds stupid :P

I like the idea, and if done right it be an awesome effect for a website.

Just don't use too many colors / changing of things, it can become disorienting if taken to the extreme. :)

Yeah, maybe don't change the colors, but just the header image? And if you do change colors, keep many things the same, especially the position of navigation links :)

Yes i know, if it is done right :)...

Actually, the first idea was to change only the header, first i took some pictures from the episodes (189xjpg file) and then i made some headers, i took the higlights of every episodes, but the colours were different, like when shiki talking to the sorceress; the colours are blue, white, green...

So i thought, well, then change the whole page :P...

I will make some xtra pages today, to look if the effects of changing colours and headers look right...

I like the overall desigh, though the change of colour between Home and Story is a but much: Try a darker grey for the story page, something like Dimgray (696969). Remember, Tsukihime has a dark look, so try coordinating the colours with the anime.

And if you look in the source code, you'll see that you (or the software) has put the copyright coding in twice ;)
