Hello to anyone interested enough to read this
Hmm, I can't say too much on tutorials, not being a modeler myself. But, from my own experience, sometimes it's easier to start from scratch than editing the detailed valve models? I assume you checked the tutorial links on the milkshake,erm, milkshaPe site? I remember some being on polycount that were good - check them out? :)

Milkshake includes a good tutorial on making a knife (you might have to download the help files). The tutorial even covers animating, compiling int .mdl and everything. Sure it may seem like nothing, but it'll cover everything you want to know, then you can apply it to say that Apache / Cobra.

Good link arghvark, I recommend you bother arghvark in #htnet or #srpn (irc.htmod.com of course) from time to time, since he has modeled in Milkshape before if you have any questions :)
Captain also has experience and stops by once in a while :)
