well, it's not neccessarily lazy, it's also speed. Think about how long it takes you to type up a short paragraph, and then how long it would be to say it. The idea of a vast majority of Anagrams and "lazy" typing are actually attemptsat speeding up the process of typing enough to match talking.

There are twin forces at work here. One is fast typing. This I call "Chat speek." it is charactarized by useless, cryptic abbreviations that only people who chat often would know.

The other is "1337 speak," which was originally developed due to work arounds for words being filtered and screened for things like warez and such.

These days, there is a greater group encapsulating both forms of notation which can just be considered - in general - <censored>hats.

I don't mind things like 'rotfl' or 'wtf' but what I do hate is when people start typing like 'but 1 of my m8s did that and he has 2 format his pc 2day' How they remove letters just to make the text shorter. If using a mobile I would understand, but on the internet.
