View Full Version : Mapping: Texture Lights Not Illuminating :(

Texture-lights aren't lighting when I compile my map. I've copied the contents of valve.rad to lights.rad and everything. I'm using Valve Hammer Editor and Zoner's Half Life Tools. Anyone know what the problem is?

You are sure the lighting files (.rad?) are being generated correctly?
I know if you have a leak, then lighting will not be generated.

Maybe you could try compiling someone else's map that you know works, to tell if your settings are 100% correct or if it is your map that has a problem with it?

Well, I know everything is setup correctly, and I know my map has no leaks or problems of any sort. Hmmm...

Are there many mappers who post in this forum?

Hmm, I can't remember whether lights.rad has to be in the zhlt folder or the worldcraft folder...
