You get a game you've stopped playing, think "Ooo, think I'll play this for quite some time, it was fun", install it, play for an hour then think "Ugh, getting bored already, already done all of that before". Then just stop and uninstall it?
I've just started playing Dungeon Siege 2 again since I didn't complete it last time, now I'm bored of it again :/

This happens to me every time I try to play Diablo 2. I also cannot finish Lunar 2 for the life of me... but that's a little different, as I haven't even beaten it once. Hmm... well, same with Diablo 2. I'm sorry, I know these two games have their followers, and I'm not raining on them; I just find them incredibly boring.
If I ever stop playing a game that I've already finished, though, it's typically for other reasons... usually I get distracted by another game.
This happens to me most frequently with console RPGs. The difference being that I usually start over, and sometimes get further than I did the first time around. ;)

I have the same issue with Diablo II. I've been playing it on and off since it came out in.....what was it...2000? 2001? God only knows how many times I've gotten bored of the game and quit. I think the longest run I did was when they first introduced the ladder stuff. I kept the only Necromancer in the top four of the entirety of the ladder for about two weeks.

Haha!
I just re-played Maniac Mansion on the NES about five times with my brother.
The game isn't really long, but that doesn't mean I didn't get tired of the music. I'm no quitter though. We beat the game in under half an hour or something.
