I recently got a copy of FF7: Crisis Core for the PSP, I've only played abit but so far it's been quite fun.
You take control of Zack this time and it takes place a few years I think it was before the events of FF7. The battles are quite interesting, instead of it being turn based like FF7 you instead run around and slash/cast spells on the enemies. There's a lock-on feature but I have no idea how that exactly works...
In a way the battles are like FF7 in the way that they are random, you don't see the enemies until they start trying to kill you. So you could be running around, then enemies pop up and you start fighting.
Since it's real time you use the L and R Trigger to change between things like attacking, casting a spell or using an item which is sometimes hard to do in the middle of a fight.
There's quite a few other things but I don't quite understand them.
So yea, that's about it really.
