What MMO should I play.

I feel like playing a MMO, but not a free one, one that I haven't played much and costs money each month.
I'm thinking of FFXI or maybe RFOnline (if that works on my computer).
Any suggestions that AREN'T WoW?

Have you played City of Heroes (http://www.cityofheroes.com/)? It's a pretty neat game. You make your own super hero and pick out the powers and make up your costume and appearance. Leveling up allows you to get more intense powers including flight, super jumping, and others. My brother plays it a lot, and I've played a little on his account.

Alternatively, you might try City of Villains (http://www.cityofvillains.com/), which is the same game basically, but instead of fighting crime, you're a villain.

Just knowing Neo, I think he would find the most fun with FF XI, but CoH/CoV would probably be pretty great too.

Hmm, I wonder if CoH will work on my computer. I've played FFXI before, can't remember why I stopped, think I ended up getting bored... I need more motivation :/

Update: Hmm, I just watched a few videos on Youtube for CoH, so far looks interesting, I might look for it tomorow.

Or don't play MMOs. They are generally a waste of time and money.

Instead, why not play LAN games with friends?

No LAN games to play with friends D:
Plus, I quite like MMOs, although the only two that have kept me interested for longer then 3 months are RuneScape (Due to the amount of people I made friends with and all the quests) and Ragnarok Online (Mainly due to friends).

Try getting Unreal Tournament 2k3. Onslaught mode, my friend. ONSLAUGHT. That will break any "I have no LAN games" mindset.

Found out that Archlord is F2P now, I bought it around a year ago for £10, got the preorder special item too :D
Just waiting for it to update now.

Update: I've just played Archlord for a few hours, quite fun so far. Slight Pos lag, but one of the servers were down so the one I was on must of just got flooded with people.
