Problem loading SimWorld

when i click on simworld to load it up, i get to the "Hotair" screen, then i click play, and i can hear it but i cant see it. i open up Task Manager and its running.

anyone know why?

Hmm, that sounds pretty odd. Are you able to play other 3D games? You may have a broken OpenGL and/or Direct 3D installation.

Browse over to the log file at c:\program files\archive entertainment\simworld\simworld\console.log and post that here. It'll hopefully give us some clues as to what's going on.

yea, im able to play a bunch of other 3D games

So this is going to be a problem -- without a 3D accelerator, you won't be able to run SW. Do you have one installed? If so, is 3D acceleration enabled for it?

You can learn more about them on this wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3d_accelerator) if it would help. Likely if you don't have a 3D card, you don't have the acceleration required to run SW and other reasonably recent 3d games. Some 3d games may support software rendering, but this is unfortunately not an option in SW.
