Super Smash Brothers Brawl

I was looking on youtube about super smash bros brawl and I found out they included Sonic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpTlg-TSQRc) :D :D Which i found pretty awesome. But what I also found out was not awesome, the game which was supposed to come out on December 3 has been extended to February :(

Yeah, I'm definitely getting it. I think that goes without saying for any Wii owner, though. The pushed back release is kinda sad, but honestly, I don't mind all that much, since I have oodles of other games to play. Just started Metroid Prime 3, so I imagine that SSBB will be out before I finish that and Super Mario Galaxy. (And then there's Psychonauts... possibly some 360 games... Orange Box... blah, blah, blah, blah...) Yeah, I'm okay with waiting a while for it.

Kirby was, apparently, good on the N64 version but on the Gamecube version he was not NEARLY as good. In fact, he stunk.

They look like they made Sonic awesome. The only bad thing could be he is so fast to the point where he could be uncontrollable. Or they could make him very light and easy to kill.

Yeah I am definitley getting this game, pretty good on the old one to be fair, melee :D.. I heard they took out aload of the old advanced techniques though, for all people who played the old one, they took out wavedashing and so on.. pretty annoying.

It's some first impressions of the characters by some hardcore Smash players. They seem fairly impartial and score the characters in various aspects.

The game is fun, but the extremely poor online playability hurts the product in my eyes. I don't think I will end up buying it.

My brother bought this the other day and him and I played for about a half hour. I have Melee for GameCube...Brawl is more difficult because the characters seem to move slower and the controls are different. Maybe it's just me...

(P.S. I was using a Classic Controller too.)

I prefer the gamecube controller, but I don't have a classic. I had a TON of fun with this game playing with my brother, but as Insane said, the online play is abysmal. Its laggy, restricted so you can't talk (besides taunts), you need a different code just for brawl (RETARDED).

I also might want to suggest reading this week's VG Cats (http://www.vgcats.com) comic. It deals with the above issues, except in an lol-inducing way. ;)

I did try it online, very bad online..it felt like I wasn't even controlling my character. Otherwise, very fun, especially with friends. I use the wii mote and nunchuk. Sonic owns :D!
