Dino-Instinct is a HL mod.
We currently looking for and experience coder or someone that knows there way around the sdk. For we all ready have the models and animation, sound fx and beta maps completed. If anyone can help out it would be most appreciated. Dino-Instinct has a great deal of potential because 70% the mod is done but we can't pogress without an exp coder. Currently we got an alpha and 2 coders but non are greatly experiance with hl coding in which its dificult for them to become unstuck when a problem occurs. Our Site is http://www.dino-instinct.com . We have a vast collection of artwork to see. Lastest news is that we might get hosted in PHL due to there e-mail they sent us.

PHL is the devil. No, really.

Good luck finding a coder though. You may also want to try on wavelength forums, though the community there is eager to flame... :(

As a sidenote, why are you choosing the HL engine? It does have lots of good resources, but it is becoming dated, and you can't freely distribute it. Nor can you sell your hard work. Why did you choose HL over another engine you could use freely?

 heh who cares hl still has a huge community. Don't flame on them on the engine they probably just want to do something minor or something to practice on. I say its not the graphics that matter its the fun factor. This dino mod looks cool. Good Luck and I hope you find a coder.

You guys have a professional website (a bit graphic intensive) and what looks to be good graphics and gameplay! Though I can't help you out, I wish you the best of luck.

When the time comes for you to publicly release your mod, look into editingarchive.com for mirroring / hosting your files instead of that horrible FilePlanet (EA has no lines...).

Login (not to forums, to main site) and you'll see an upload file option. :)

Oh no! My message wasn't intended as a flame! I just wanted to advise them about the HL engine. That way I can tell them "I told you so!" when their mod gets famous ;)

And EA does offer some free services to open source projects. Get in contact with me for details :)
