View Full Version : Bug: Empty files are created when an upload fails

When trying to download files #894 (http://editingarchive.com/view.php?ID=894) and #895 (http://editingarchive.com/view.php?ID=895), it directs you to directories in the FTP system instead of the file itself.
If it is because the files were deleted by the user, shouldn't the links be taken off the main page?

I second this bug.

This happens when the upload is not completed (user navigates away from the page or disconnects while uploading a file). Usually, the entire entry should be deleted. :)
If Sim feels like doing it, it would be possible to implement some checks to verify that downloads completed and automate this process...

I thought a system like that was already in place?

I believe not, as I know I have had to manually get him to delete my own failed uploads. :)
This should be fixable. Renaming thread/bug title to be useful, and I've deleted the two offending entries.
