View Full Version : Speedmapping Contest?

Would anyone be interested in an Archive-sponosored speed-mapping contest? Wherein you have a theme around which to build a map in a limited amount of time.

I need the following things:
Are you interested?
How fast could you make a vaguely playable map (1hr? 6hrs? 1 day? 1 weekend?)
Mods that should be allowed?
Suggestions anyone? ;)

Its not a bad idea except you need to find out a way to know when the map started. You can add something like say a wad but that still doesnt make it to easy. Its alright if its done in fun but i wouldnt give out prizes to easy to falsify.

Anyone else interested in joining? And what mods are you interested in doing this for? (HL, CS, TFC, HT?)

Hell give me 5 min's I can make you a box with an info_multiplayerstart. I can skip the vis and rad compile, and boom you have your functional high speed map!
