Seriosly, were you drunk? Donating does not mean you can be rude. Spoiling was the last straw. I normally wouldn't permaban, but it would be small timeban.

I don't see how you can't understand why you were banned..

a) You made some really lewd comments
b) You announced a potential spoiler
c) You continuously typed in caps which might not bother the ops but it is really irritating and could potentially get you removed from other forms of chat as it is VERY OBNOXIOUS.
d) Your behavior in general was just obnoxious and could be regarded as offensive to some people that would potentially be donators.
e) Even if you did donate (which I did as well, I might add) it doesn't give you the right to act like a complete jerk on IRC.

I think it was a safe move on Sim's part.

Though, come to think of it, I remember seeing a possible fake petition against the release of doom3, stating that doom3 is satanic and should not be released. They were concerned that people were looking more forward to doom3 than the second coming of jesus. Now, I don't know anything about religion, but I believe that in this second coming, there's quite a bit of pain and death.
