Has anyone else watched a variation of the Hellsing anime? I (cough cough) aquired an episode to Helling episode 2: Club M which was not subtitled and had different opening and closing. It also had changes in the actual anime that I have not seen in the one being broadcaast on desync.net. I was just wondering if perhaps this was the japanese variation of the show and they changed the U.S. release or maybe something else. If anyone has an explination that would be sweet!!

I have seen the Hellsing anime on desync. I was just wondering if the version that you saw was a bit more rougher or risqe then the desync version. That would answer quite a bit.

Hmm, I have not seen either versions. Can you describe the intro?

All I really remember is in one of the intros there's a lot of blood/red transitioning between different forms, and Integra is slamming her hand down on the desk.

The intro is different when the camera zooms into Alucard's eye in his demon dog form. Instead of when he pulls the cross from around his neck it shows a longer zoom in on his eye. Um... there is also not really more risque scenes just that the animation was differnent. IE) The scene where Seres looks at the blood on the table for the first time and opens her mouth baring fangs. In the one I have she looks hungerly at it and licks her lips. For the closing there is just alot more CG of the table with the wine and Alucard's glasses, instead of the table just being drawn like I see in Desync.

Oh, also in the intro and closing instead of being in English as is the Desync version it is in all Japanese. That, is why I suspect it to be maybe a Japan original.

Hmmm.... I havent looked it up, but maybe one could be a TV version (Japan) and other could be a DVD version (for export?). But this is just a guess

Yeah, that's a good idea. I bet there is somewhere that it's explained clearly :P
