So I made this thread~
But yea, college is getting slightly more hectic, that and I've started playing WoW again as well as two other web games (Knight's Blood and Ogame). Hopefully college will calm down a bit and I'll be able to post more.

Also, Huzzah for mass snow on monday that caused all the buses to be canceled so no college.

Ahoy there!

It snowed where I am too, although not quite that much. Still had to walk to Uni :?

Protip: Enjoy the college campus atmosphere because once your graduate you'll experience nothing like it ever again.

Insane: England college is different to American college.
England college is pretty much like Secondary/High school, just you don't have to be in all day, and more work.

American School = Write...write...quiz...write...read...write...test ...math...write...(maybe)lab...etc.

American College = Listen...write...study...quiz...listen...write paper...write...study...test...etc. (maybe substitute 'write's with 'lab's for certain courses.)

It's kinda boring, really. Of course, me not liking writing at all doesn't help much. >.<

I only do Computing, Maths and Physics so I don't have to write too much :3

I wish I could do only computing, math, and physics; I can't get a degree at ULL in Computer Science without taking all sorts of unrelated courses.

I aught to sick :ruby: on whoever came up with these degree programs...

In England, it goes Nursery School, Primary School, Secondary/High School, College, University. College and University are both optional, but awesome :D

At College you can do any courses you want, but you have to pick at least 3 usually.
At University you can study almost anything you want, and you only have to study that one thing. Which is what I'm doing :p

Neo, addicted to an MMO? I'm shocked! SHOCKED! Well... not that shocked. :P

Also, sounds like you guys need to switch your major to Starcraft (http://www.starcraftwire.net/articles/comments/inside-the-starcraft-college-course/)!

In American college, they let you choose what you want to study, and then they make you take a bunch of extra courses to prolong your stay, quickly draining you and your parents' money until you're paying off student loans for 10+ years. On the plus side...

Oh wait, there isn't a plus side. Unless it's state college, American colleges blow hard and are designed for the wealthy presidents to become more wealthy at the expense of students. The USA is a grand country.

Colleges in England are free AFAIK, though I think if you're an adult you have to pay for your courses.

Protip: Americans are brainwashed by overtly patriotic garbage and their country blows (except if you're rich).
