Yep, I've found a torrent client that works through my firewall without any hassel <_< It's the Azureus (http://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus/) java based client. Looks like my problems may have been with python - either that or that Azureus only uses one port instead of a range ;)

For anyone using Azureus make sure you defragment your Hard drive after the files finish downloading!! It tends to leave a lots of fragments, but only if no other files are in the process of downloading!!!

If you like character based anime, try Marie-Sama Ga Miteru - I finally watched the entire series and it's good. No sex, no violence, just the relationships between the girls :)

I just saw episode 13!

I had no idea 13 was the final episode. So I was shocked by the fansub's introduction stating it was the last episode. I was also shocked that they are SELLING 8' x 10' prints of Midori. It's a good idea to get something back from your hard work... but I don't know about selling unauthorized merchandise.

Besides, who want's a physical print? A wallpaper, or a midori plushi might be nice. Really, what they should sell is a midori hand puppet. That would be really funny :P

As far as the ending goes...

It was nice to see the cat finally win too :P I do feel bad for Ayase, but there was no other way that the series could end on a happy note. I also loved the clip of Takamizawa *still* being chased after, some nice poetic justice there :P

Still, I think they could get at LEAST another 12 episodes out of the story. Midori No Hibi is strange in that it really does not add too many new characters from the first episode. But there is sadness nothing compared Saikano. Sometimes you just need a great, sad, drama, and saikano fits that great.

Without indicating the ending, does anyone know any other series that are very dramatic? I've seen X, and though my friends claim it's a pinnacle of sadness, it just didn't compare for me to saikano...

Supposedly there is an anime as good as Saikano, but I have forgotten the name. A guy mensions it on boxtorrents. As soon as it comes up I will find out and post it.

At least clamp's artwork tends to be consistantly good (talking about the manga here) :)

But Clamp arn't the only ones whose characters look the same - Shirow always has guests appearing - Anni and Uni from Dominion appear briefly in Ghost in the Shell, while a Fukiyama appears in Conflict (manga) :D

And watch out for the Rabbit Man. There's always a Man carrying a toy rabbit in shirow's work. Both Anime and Manga (He's in the Market in GitS) ;)

I always thought that anime staff should occasionally paint themselves in at random points. Obviously this is visible in Excel Saga, and to great effect :lol:

In American animation, in Invader Zim, the animators inserted themselves into all sorts of random places (interestingly, usually random characters who die quickly :blink: )

I have read that domestic Japanese market played the un-edited series and Japanese satellite played the blurred version. So will see, keep the originals from the torrents until you know!! ;)

Dan stepped into his apartment. He needed to do his laundry, but right now he had more important things to do. He booted up his old 486. Though he didn't have to use older technology, he preferred it to the newer systems. Mainly, he loved the version of notepad, that windows 95 had spoiled with some critical bugs.

Dan opened up Notepad and began the first chapter of Untitled Document. Little did he know that this story would soon bring him to face others. As Dan typed, a bike pulled up outside.

On it rode Ryoko. A hired assassin who intended to take out the writer inside.

Uh... where did that come from? ... /me passes the pen to someone else. :P
