Ahh, yes, I've been gone for a few weeks eh?

Well, here's the explanation.

My computer is a piece of crap.
It kept getting slightly worse and worse every day. My video card and whatever other hardware would crap out on me even if I was on a freakin' website. Finally my hardware croaked when I tried to run a scan with Uniblue and my computer froze. Now I cannot start windows normally or in safe mode. So yeah, I'm stuck to using my stepbrother's computer.

BUT, for a hardware update, I'm probably going to be switching out my old 'unpolished turd' case (yes, I remember that Walrii :P) with either of these.

This one is the Apevia X-Jupiter Jr. G type Mid Tower. $75.00
2580

And this one is the Apevia X-Jupiter G Full Tower. $170.00
2581

Probably gonna get a motherboard by Asus and whatever good video card I can get.

Are you sure it's actually all of your hardware failing at once? That sounds unlikely, though quite possible. A bad piece of RAM can really screw things up all over (and probably make you THINK something else is misbehaving). Also, I've heard power surges / brownouts can reek havoc on things. Not that you can fix those though...

Either way, those cases look really awesome. It's weird how the bigger one (assuming it's the next step up) is over 2x the cost of the normal one. That seems like a bit of a rip-off.

It was the first shopping result I could find :P.

I just found the same case for $150, lol. Let's see if I can drop it to $100 (this would be a freakin' miracle)

EDIT: It probably had something to do with my video card and motherboard. My video card used to overheat bigtime and my motherboard had something broken off of it when putting in a new sound card.

I recently picked up a quad-core AMD processor and motherboard from Fry's for around $200. There's some really good deals if you look :)
