Chaos Factor is a new up and comming commercial game, I'm part of its maping team, let me show you some "exclusive" screen shot of one of the maps I'm makeing for it :)

You guys licensing the HL engine? If you guys are going with a Q2 based engine, you may want to just license Q2, or get it free with GPL. There are also some projects that give the HL-Engine with some extra features under gpl. Might be worth checking out if you're planning on commercially using this engine :)

Not sure what the setting is, but I can really see that map with some industrial-style skymaps. Maybe some futuristic skyscrapers? :D Not sure on the setting though :lol:

Screenshots look like fun though :D

Actualy the engine is of our own design, home built right from the ground up, its built with compatability with HL's BSP format, <_< but of course thats just a side effect.

Its a mech game, but that is subject to change.

Looks pretty sweet man,If yall want some beta testers,im here for ya,I agree with sim,if you want a decent engine,I would actully recommend serious sam engine,but seeing as how your using hammer map editor,Id say that the HL engine is good,because quake II engine would need alot of work to fix the particling effects.
