I still claim victory on the previous RPG contest. I distributed demos of mine, at least.

Why oh why must they name it "XP"?
It doesn't look like that great of an improvement (graphics wise), but the scripting language could be good I guess.
Insane, I request you make something with it.
Actually, the graphics are a great improvement, especially in the UI field. Transparent message boxes and everything! Then again, HTMud has transparent message boxes, so meh :P
Also, I released a demo too :P

My demo > Your Demo
My Ruby > Your Ruby
I win = You BEG ME TO RELEASE A RPG! :-p
In all seriousness though, it just comes down to time, and how I never would have enough of it to work on it.
True :(
Though I hear Ein and Neo are working on an rpg now. Should be... unique :P

Are they using RPG Maker XP (I'd like the see the new "engine" in an actual game)?
Yeah, I believe so.
One of my classmates used RpgMaker XP in their project, and it looks nice :D

What is it with your college and game engines?
Your classmate used RpgMAKER XP, you're using Quake II for some puzzle thing... (screenshots!?)...
I prefer old school 2d graphics anyday (we're talking NES or even before)!

RMXP is good but non of the tile-sets have towns like there was in rm2k and rm2k3 so its hard to make world maps unless your world map is a HUGE town
There, this topic is back on track for RpgMakerXP! ;)
(Like that'll happen... :P)
